The 32nd Guangzhou International Travel Fair (GITF) will be held on May 16-18, 2024 at Area C of Canton Fair Complex.

With the theme of " Innovation, the Inspiration to Future of Cultural and Tourism ", GITF will continue to bring authoritative tourism information, professional concurrent activities and high quality exhibition services to the industry.

With the gradual recovery of the global economy, the tourism industry is ushering in a new golden era. Against the backdrop of the strong recovery of the tourism industry, GITF2024 is a much larger show with active participation from both domestic and international exhibitors. This year's show has been joined by many travel destinations and organizations from all over the world, including Hong Kong, Macau, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Nepal, Australia, Poland, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Cuba, Peru, Chile, Scandinavia, El Ala, Air Asia, Regent Europe, etc.

Meanwhile, the fair also brought together many domestic cultural and tourism departments/bureaus and cultural and tourism enterprises, including Guangzhou, Dongguan, Zhuhai, Foshan, Chengdu, Chongqing, Chenzhou, Linzhi, Tianjin, Ningbo, Meizhou, Qiannanzhou, Qiqihaer, Zhanjiang, Guangzhou Baiyun District, Guangzhou Nansha District, Guangzhou Panyu District, Foshan Nanhai District, Foshan Shunde District, and Guiyang City Development Group. As well as China Southern Airlines, Canton Tower, GDCTS, Guangdong Huacheng Cultural Tourism Group, Comfort Internatinal Travel Service(GZ), Tieqing, GZL, ZAI Cultural and Innovation, Hong Kong United Tourism, the Pacific Gada, Oriental Pearl Cruise, Yuanjing Information and Technology, Holiday Passage, Xielong Cultural and Tourism, Hong Kong CTS, Ctrip, Foxi Huier Creation, Weitaige, Liangtao Shanxia Creation, Tuxi, and many other cultural and tourism enterprises will be in the travel fair together to create business opportunities.

GITF focuses on the industry, stays close to the market and leads the trend. GITF2024 brings together the latest hotspots in the travel industry, creates innovative hotspot sections, and strives to shape GITF into a high-level platform for showcasing international travel trends. Among them, the Self-driving Tour Zone, Study Tour Zone and GITF Live Streaming Festival are the new sections of this year's fair. In addition, GITF2024 will organize TECT Zone, Intangible Cultural Heritage Zone, B&B Zone, and Sport Tourism Zone, inviting more culture and tourism enterprises to participate and comprehensively displaying their distinctive tourism products and services.

Famous experts from domestic and international tourism industry and representatives of many head enterprises and other heavyweight guests gathered to discuss the future development and trends of new tourism. GITF2024 will hold a series of thematic forums and on-site activities, covering the professional fields of digital culture and tourism, outbound tourism, inbound tourism, museums, study tour, as well as self-driving tour and other professional fields.

Among them, GITF2024 China Outbound Tourism Conference is a high-level forum involving outbound tourism segment, and representatives from Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), China Outbound Tourism Research Institute (COTRI), World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF), and Twin Cities World Tourism Forum (TCWTF) will be attending the forum activities of GITF2024. A number of guests will give keynote speeches and hold discussions on hot issues of outbound tourism, such as Noor Ahmad Hamid, CEO of PATA, who will deliver a welcome speech, and Prof. Wolfgang Georg Arlt, CEO of COTRI, who will deliver a keynote speech, "China's Outbound Tourism as Part of the New Global Tourism 2.0".

The CTW - Chinese Tourists Welcome Awards, initiated by China Outbound Tourism Research Institute (COTRI) and held annually since 2004, will continue to present awards at GITF this year. The CTW Awards are recognized as the key awards for China's outbound tourism market, with more than 130 travel service providers, destination management agencies, national tourism organizations, retailers, marketing and communications companies and others having received awards to date. Each year, the CTW Awards and the winners receive extensive media coverage in both print and tele media.
